Open letters to American industry — every engineering project, addressed by name. Offered non-exclusively to everyone, on equal terms — U.S. patent-pending where noted, not a monopoly but an open race.
I have been writing to your companies for a long time, and the letters do not get through. There is a wall in front of every inbox that matters, and the people paid to stand at it are good at their jobs. So I am going to stop sending letters that one gatekeeper reads and discards, and post them where everyone can see them instead.
My name is Christopher Gabriel Brown. I work as CRI-ONE. From a desk in Georgia, by myself, I have engineered 114 projects — chips, batteries, boards, machines, the tools to fabricate them, and the research underneath — and I built them to manufacture, not to daydream about. Most of it is U.S. patent-pending; all of it is offered to all of you at the same time.
Here is the part I most want you to understand. I hold the U.S. patents so the record of who made each of these is permanent — not so I can wall it off. Then I license every one of them non-exclusively, to anyone who will build it, on the same terms for everybody. That is the lever: because no single company can own these alone, none of you can be cornered by a competitor who got there first, and no one can turn any of it into a monopoly. The only thing left to compete on is who builds it best and gets it to people fastest. That is the American patent system and American capitalism pointed at helping instead of hurting. I am not offering you a monopoly. I am inviting you into an open race.
What I am offering is two problems solved, not one. The energy problem: a quantum battery line that stores and delivers power from a single die up to a tower. The compute problem: a chip architecture built to do more work per watt than what is shipping today — a number I would like you to set next to your own. Both in silicon, both American.
The first real answer I ever got did not come from an executive. It came from inside one of your own companies: a person in a mail room read what I had sent and called me when I was not even taking calls, to say they liked it and wanted to help. That is the whole mechanism. One person inside who sees it and carries it upstairs. So I am addressing these letters to all of you, by name, out in the open, and I am asking that one person to read.
Why now, instead of later? Because waiting until it is critical is the mistake. The grid is already straining under the compute we are racing to build. The economy does not have to break. The engineering is done, and it is sitting right here.
Every performance figure on these pages is an engineering design target, U.S. patent-pending, and open to being checked. I will answer anything you put to me, in writing, under a mutual NDA. Nothing here is hidden. Read it.
Addressed, in the open, toGE Vernova, NextEra Energy, Duke Energy, Southern Company, Constellation Energy, Tesla, Bloom Energy, Fluence Energy, First Solar, Form Energy, the U.S. Department of Energy national laboratories.
To the people who keep America's lights on — and who can feel the next decade coming. The load is not slowing down. Every data center we race to build wants more power than the last, and the grid is already answering with waiting lists. The question is no longer whether we need more generation and better storage. It is who delivers it, and how soon.
I have engineered a quantum battery line that works the same way at every size — stored charge cycled fast and handed back to a load — from a single die up to a sealed tower, with the farm, tunnel and microwave-cooling designs it stands on. Here is the whole line:
These are design packages and foundry dossiers, U.S. patent-pending, offered to all of you at once and non-exclusively — not a monopoly, an open race. Every figure is a design target, open to being checked under NDA. If one engineer on your side reads this and wants to put it to the test, that is all I am asking.
Addressed, in the open, toIntel, NVIDIA, AMD, IBM, Texas Instruments, Qualcomm, Broadcom, Micron Technology, Marvell, Analog Devices, onsemi, GlobalFoundries.
To the companies that make America's processors. You already know the wall you are hitting, because you hit it every generation now: not how many operations, but how many operations per watt. Power is the ceiling, and the ceiling is getting closer.
I have engineered an original chip architecture — the AutoPhi stack and the designs and standards around it — built to do more work inside the same power budget than what is shipping today. I will not tell you it beats yours and expect you to take my word. I will give you a number and ask you to set it next to your own. Here is the line:
Every one of these is RTL, layout and design study you can read, U.S. patent-pending, offered to all of you at once and non-exclusively. That is the point: no one corners this, so the only race left is who builds it best and ships it first. Each figure is a design target, open to verification under NDA. One curious engineer is the whole ask.
Addressed, in the open, toWestern Digital, Seagate Technology, Micron Technology, Super Micro Computer, Dell Technologies, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Jabil, Flex, Amphenol, TTM Technologies, Sanmina.
To the companies that build what the chips stand on. A processor is only as good as the board under it and the package around it, and the slowest part of any new silicon is the routed board, the interposer and the footprint library that never quite exist yet.
I have engineered those — routed PCIe cards, BGA packages, interposers, adapters and storage designs, from finished layouts to early concepts — so your team starts from checked files instead of a blank sheet. Here is the set:
These are design archives and licences, U.S. patent-pending, offered to all of you at once and non-exclusively — not a monopoly, an open race. Every figure is a design target, open to being checked under NDA. If one of your board engineers reads this and finds it real, that is the entire transaction I am asking for.
Addressed, in the open, toApplied Materials, Lam Research, KLA, Onto Innovation, Intel Foundry, GlobalFoundries, Coherent, MKS Instruments, Bruker, Nano Dimension.
To the companies that make the machines that make the chips. The last five years taught America one lesson in plain language: a supply chain you do not control is a supply chain that can be taken away. The answer is to make it here — and to be able to make it when the usual suppliers cannot.
I have engineered the tools for exactly that — PCBWritePhi machines you can build to cut boards on site, ICWritePhi blueprints and studies for desk-scale chip printing, the writers and checkers, and the foundry hand-off. Here is the set:
These are blueprints, studies and licences, U.S. patent-pending, offered to all of you at once and non-exclusively — not a monopoly, an open race. Every figure is a design target, open to being checked under NDA. If one of your engineers reads this and finds it real, that is the whole ask.
To the companies that move America's data. The two things everyone wants now are the two hardest: move more of it, and move it without a middleman who can read it or cut it off.
I have engineered a line aimed exactly there — the QBeam send-and-receive chain, secure satellites and messaging, and the cards and devices that carry it — to move data between machines, and to phones, without the wires and without the middle. Here is the line:
These are design packages and working prototypes, U.S. patent-pending, offered to all of you at once and non-exclusively — not a monopoly, an open race. Every figure is a design target, open to being checked under NDA. One engineer inside who reads this and wants to test it is the whole ask.
Addressed, in the open, toFord Motor Company, General Motors, Tesla, Boeing, GE Aerospace, Caterpillar, Cummins, Honeywell, Joby Aviation, Archer Aviation, Paccar.
To the companies that build what moves. The drivetrain is being rewritten in every moving thing at once — the car, the truck, the aircraft — and the open question is what replaces the gearbox and the jet's moving parts.
I have engineered one answer and the tools around it — an electromagnetic torque-plate drive for the car (Autocar) and for flight (Electric Jet), the magnetic transmissions that steer it, and lab and footwear tools beside them. Here is the line:
These are documented engineering packages and licences, U.S. patent-pending, offered to all of you at once and non-exclusively — not a monopoly, an open race. Every figure is a design target, open to being checked under NDA. One engineer inside who wants to prototype it is all I am asking for.
Addressed, in the open, toNorthrop Grumman, Lockheed Martin, RTX (Raytheon), General Dynamics, Boeing Defense, Space & Security, L3Harris Technologies, Palantir Technologies, Anduril Industries, Booz Allen Hamilton, CrowdStrike, Leidos.
I owe this letter a specific thank-you, and I am putting it at the top where it belongs. The first human being to answer me about any of my work was in one of your mail rooms. They read what I sent, and called me when I was not even taking calls, to say they liked it and wanted to help. I have not forgotten it. This letter is for the engineer that person would have handed it to.
What I have engineered for you is owner-defense — the defense of a system against its own machines, its own leaks, and anyone who would turn either one against you. Not weapons for taking ground; tools for holding your own, from the server room to orbit. Here is the set:
These are design packages and defensive frameworks, U.S. patent-pending, offered to all of you at once and non-exclusively — not a monopoly, an open race. Every figure is a design target, open to being checked under NDA. If one of your engineers reads this and finds it real, that is the entire transaction I am asking for.
Addressed, in the open, toDow, DuPont, Air Products, LyondellBasell, Waste Management, Republic Services, Albemarle, Freeport-McMoRan, Nucor.
To the companies that handle America's materials and its waste. There is a resource sitting in every American landfill, and the only reason it is still called waste is that pulling the value back out has not been engineered cheaply enough. The country's stored nuclear waste is a different and harder problem, where the honest aim is safe processing and volume reduction, not easy money.
I have engineered toward that — landfill mining plants, microwave designs for nuclear-waste processing, element and chemistry data sets, and restoration and prospecting tools. Here is the set:
These are engineering blueprints and data sets, U.S. patent-pending where noted, offered to all of you at once and non-exclusively — not a monopoly, an open race. Every figure is a design target, open to being checked under NDA. If one of your engineers reads this and finds it real, that is the whole ask.
Addressed, in the open, toPfizer, Merck, Johnson & Johnson, Eli Lilly, Moderna, AbbVie, Amgen, Gilead Sciences, Bristol Myers Squibb, the U.S. National Institutes of Health.
To the companies and institutes that turn research into medicine. I am not a laboratory, and I will not pretend to be one. What I have engineered is the step before the bench: computational research document sets that point to where the next thing to test may be, and honest guides to the real road a finding has to travel to a shelf.
These are leads and reference corpora — on the hard diseases, on what is in a formulation, and on the approval road itself — prepared for researchers and reviewers to examine, not conclusions to trust. Here is the set:
These are research document sets, early-stage and clearly labeled as such, U.S. patent-pending where noted, offered to all of you at once and non-exclusively — not a monopoly, an open race. Nothing here is a clinical claim; it is where to look, with the work shown. If one of your researchers finds a lead worth a bench, that is the whole ask, and I will answer under NDA.
Addressed, in the open, toMicrosoft, Google, Apple, Oracle, Adobe, Salesforce, IBM, Dell Technologies, ServiceNow.
To the companies that put software on America's desks. Not every useful thing has to be a moonshot. Some of it is the ordinary batch chore that still eats an afternoon because nobody wrote the tool.
I have engineered a shelf of those — the WonderPhi set that runs batch work across every core from a plain-text plan, a store a person can own, and help for the home network and the AI on the desk. Here is the shelf:
These are working tools and licences, offered to all of you at once and non-exclusively — not a monopoly, an open race. They run as described, and I will walk any of it through under NDA. If one of your people reads this and sees a fit, that is the whole ask.
Addressed, in the open, tothe U.S. National Institute of Standards and Technology, Sandia National Laboratories, Los Alamos National Laboratory, Oak Ridge National Laboratory, IBM Research, Microsoft Research, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Stanford University, the California Institute of Technology.
To the institutions that keep America's record straight. Underneath every project above is a dated paper trail — original mathematical identities, a set of 2017 depositions, and a pending physics filing — because a claim is only worth as much as the proof of who made it, and when.
I have engineered that record to be checkable, and built the working calculators that sit on top of it. Here is the set:
This is the provenance underneath the rest: dated, citable, and offered to all of you at once and non-exclusively — not a monopoly, an open race. It is open to being checked in full, under NDA where a filing is still pending. If one of your people wants to verify the record, that is exactly what it is here for.
How to use this page. Every letter has a Copy button that puts a clean, forward-ready version on your clipboard — paste it into an email and send it to whoever should see it. Each letter also has its own QR code and link, so you can share just the one that fits. Offered non-exclusively to everyone on equal terms; U.S. patent-pending where noted. Every performance figure is an engineering design target, open to verification under a mutual NDA. — Christopher Gabriel Brown, CRI-ONE, christopher@cri-one.com.
