Why you'd want it

The whole QBeam business in one purchase: chip RTL, twelve per-model foundry files, storefront, pricing and outreach list.

  • Who it's for: a US chip company prepared to fund its own first tape-out and sell the QBeam line.
  • The problem it solves: design source, build scripts, sales channel and contacted leads arrive together, not assembled piece by piece.
  • What you get: RTL v1 bundle, twelve per-model overlays with handoff notes, build scripts, storefront, lead list. No tape-out yet.

The whole QBeam calculator business, sold as one. RTL v1 bundle + 12 tape-out-ready SKUs (APM01–APM12, 7 nm → 2 nm) + storefront + pricing framework + outreach pipeline. One buyer acquires the whole thing.

Explore the store

The whole QBeam calculator, not a piece of it. Twelve quantum-processor models sit on the showroom floor — a small starter for a research desk on one end, a utility-scale flagship for a national lab on the other, ten between. The clever trick is that the same photon does two calculations on the way through: the beam bounces once more inside the lamp instead of being thrown away, so a smaller lamp does the work of a bigger one. The storefront, the pricing math, the list of the fifty companies that already asked about it, and the tape-out-ready design for every model come with the calculator. One buyer takes the whole thing under a signed agreement; the inventor keeps his name on the founder's plaque and everything else changes hands.

More Information
More Information
Manufacturer | Christopher Gabriel Brown / CRI-ONE (Lawrenceville, GA, USA)
Product line | QBeam Calculator — Complete Sale (Project 87)

Licensing model | Whole-business acquisition under a signed asset-purchase agreement. IP-retained until close, then transferred cleanly to the buyer. Inventor keeps name-on-founder’s-plaque and prior-art position; every other right transfers.

Deliverable format | RTL v1 tarball (10 shared core Verilog modules + 5 integration modules) · 12 tape-out-ready SKU overlays APM01–APM12 (7 nm → 2 nm, each with synth.sdc, floorplan.tcl, pnr_config.tcl, 44-line canonical FOUNDRY_HANDOFF.md) · PHP storefront (product page, quote builder, checkout start, download) · PHOTONS_PER_DOLLAR.md pricing framework · brand assets · outreach handoff list (50+ warm leads).

Jurisdiction | USA-based buyers only. USD only. EAR/BIS export classifications per SKU; APM04 and finer (5 nm and below) carry specific classifications.

Warranty | None. Design targets, not warranties. Tape-out-readiness is documented per SKU in each FOUNDRY_HANDOFF.md; the buyer verifies against their foundry of choice.

Delivery | pub/media/downloadable/files/links/8/7/87-post-foundry-qbeam-v1-for-delivery.zip served after mutual NDA and signed acquisition agreement. Warm-lead pipeline handoff and storefront transfer are separate written milestones scheduled at close.

Subject line for inquiries | Project 87 · QBeam Calculator · Complete Sale — email to christopher@cri-one.com. No phone.

Anti-Skynet cross-ref | Same directed-by-humans principle as Fast Bot Data (88): the calculator is driven by customer inputs, does not self-fabricate, does not seize foreign hardware, and its RTL cannot rewrite itself.

Valuation

Pre-production blueprint usage right, patent pending, non-exclusive. The analog this product is closest to in the market is silicon photonic interconnect — Ayar Labs TeraPHY, Lightmatter Passage, Celestial AI, and Rockley Photonics.

Patent landscape

Silicon photonics filings grew 3× from 2020–2024; QBeam-style quantum send/receive chain IP is a narrow but defensible claim set (<500 families).

Market opportunity

  • Silicon photonics: $2.5B (2026) → $14B (2032), 32% CAGR.
  • Co-packaged optics inside data-center switches: $4B+ by 2030.

Comparable transactions

  • Cisco → Acacia Communications (2021): $4.5B for optical interconnect.
  • Marvell → Inphi (2021): $10B for high-speed data-center interconnect.
  • Ayar Labs funding: $155M Series C at ~$1B valuation (2024).

Estimated valuation range

Realistic clearing band for a non-exclusive blueprint usage right: $2.5M (research / single-buyer evaluation) → $25M (strategic non-exclusive with manufacturing / deployment rights).

Listed catalog price: $711,875,000 — public anchor for direct enquiry; actual clearing price negotiated inside the range above with the buyer, scope (non-exclusive, territory, field-of-use), and milestone structure.
