92-emic-calculator
Think of an electric drivetrain the way you think of a good bicycle chain — every link has to pull its weight, or the whole thing loses efficiency. The EMIC calculator is the workbench where the engineer figures out, before anything is cut or wound, whether the torque plate at the heart of that drivetrain is going to pull.
You type in the size of the plate, the shape of the coil, and the working conditions (how much current, how hot, how fast it switches), and the calculator hands back a picture of the whole thing — how much wire you use, how heavy the finished piece will be, how much of the power turns into motion versus into heat, and roughly what the parts will cost. Around that workbench sits a proper storefront: a paid unlock for the answer, a two-key handshake that gates the engineering files behind a signed mutual NDA, and a hardened retainer path for buyers who want a bigger conversation. It ships with warm leads at the tier-1 automotive names already contacted. The math traces line-by-line to the Autocar reference calculator that CRI-ONE authored, so a procurement team's own EM engineer can validate it side-by-side in an afternoon. Nothing about the calculator runs on its own — the customer directs every configuration, and the storefront is written to hold and defend the owner. What sits inside the calculator — the specific coefficients, the exact comparison rule that keeps the paid file paid, the per-signal scaling on the vehicle-bus module — stays with the IP until a signed asset-purchase agreement closes.

Details
Patent posture. Patent-pending on the productized front-end that turns the Autocar torque-plate physics into a paying, NDA-gated storefront: the two-key download gate, the audit-hardened distinguishing comparison rule, the hardened multi-check retainer-return gauntlet, and the click-through bespoke-engagement path. The upstream Autocar physics reference module (Project 01) carries its own separate IP posture and is a separate acquisition conversation.
Catalog entries. Project 92 · EMIC — Electromagnetic IC / Autocar torque-plate · Complete Sale. Cross-referenced with Project 01 (Autocar Electronic Automotive Platform, technology source-of-record, separate sale) and with Project 88 (Fast Bot Data, the bundling channel, separate sale). Sibling complete-sale packs at Projects 89, 90, 91, 93, 94 — each a separate sale.
Architecture summary (categories only). One top-level storefront PHP page plus two shared include modules (the NDA countersign UI and the per-calculation pay gate). Torque-plate physics engine with three input categories and roughly a dozen output categories. Two Autocar handoff emitters (an engineering design manifest schema-matched to the Autocar reference file, and a functional vehicle-bus definitions module at the common industrial CAN speed). Two-tier Stripe integration (retail unlock, enterprise retainer). MySQL access-control ledger with unique key on buyer email plus item key. Magic-link sign-in gate. SMTP transport with STARTTLS and RFC 2047 MIME subject encoding. Compliance layer with USA-companies-only enforcement at two chokepoints and a mutual-NDA reference inherited as an operating condition.
Sibling domains. Electromagnetic drivetrain design tools, tier-1 automotive engineering handoff, vehicle-firmware code generation from CAN definitions, NDA-gated enterprise engineering IP delivery.
IP retention. All copyright, trade secrets, physics-port implementation, handoff-emitter implementation, storefront code, access-control code, Stripe integration, NDA infrastructure, brand assets, outreach records, and configuration secrets remain with Christopher Gabriel Brown until a signed asset-purchase agreement closes. Retained-inventor rights (name in provenance, prior-art position, right to reference EMIC as an inventor credit) survive.
Provenance. Christopher Gabriel Brown is the originator and author of the EMIC calculator and of the upstream Autocar physics reference module it ports from. The historical fact of authorship stays on the record post-close.

For the curious
Before a single wire is wound around a torque plate, this calculator tells the engineer whether the finished piece will actually pull — resistance, inductance, magnetic field, efficiency, weight, cost, all from four numbers and a duty cycle. A locomotive contractor is deciding between AWG 6 and AWG 8 copper for an e-bike hub motor. Same page, one afternoon: AWG 6 wins on weight but current density crosses the thermal envelope at 80% duty, so the customer specs AWG 8 and moves on. Two hours of back-of-the-napkin work compressed into a single page.
