What is in the SDK
wpqc— the compiler. Parses WritePhi-Q source (all three tiers: photonic primitives, quantum gates, memory-cell compute-in-memory), emits PQIR (textual intermediate representation with source-line annotations and stdlib version pins), calls the WritePhi optical-processing SDK for the layout pass, and produces the.wpprogwrite program that the WritePhi Writer consumes. Tier detection is automatic from the top-level module keyword; source files can freely mix tiers.wpqsim— the simulator. Simulates a design classically. Small Tier-2 designs run as state-vector simulation; larger designs run with a photonic-noise-modeled backend for benchmarking. Rejects programs that exceed the qubit-count simulation budget with a clear error.wpq-lsp— the language server. Standard Language Server Protocol implementation with editor integrations for VS Code, Neovim, and Sublime Text. Provides type checking, error highlighting, stdlib go-to-definition, and photonic-realizability warnings as you type.wpq-inspect— the visualizer. Diffs two.pqirfiles, visualizes a.wplayoutas SVG, timelines a.wpprog, and produces a scaled preview of what a written Q-Blank surface will look like.wpq-stdlibbase entries.
