WPQ-DIMM Production Tier
(USD). The production-ready tier of the WPQ-DIMM. Everything in the reference DIMM-1 and DIMM-4 SKUs is included, plus what a hyperscaler or defense-program-of-record actually needs to deploy at fleet scale: production-yield validation, extended reliability characterization, fleet-deployment commercialization rights, and standing engineering support during the first-shipment period. Ready to deploy on its own. No reference-article caveat.
What is different from WP2-DIMM-1 / WP2-DIMM-4
The reference DIMM SKUs (WP2-DIMM-1 at and WP2-DIMM-4 at ) are single evaluation articles intended for buyer bring-up, characterization, and algorithm development. They are not sold with fleet-deployment license. WPQ-DIMM Production Tier is the operating point at which a WPQ-DIMM is qualified, warranted, and licensed for shipping into a paying customer's production infrastructure.
What the buyer receives
- Physical article. One production-grade WPQ-DIMM. Buyer selects 1-disc or 4-disc stack configuration at time of order. Full JEDEC DDR5 mechanical compliance, full CXL 3.0 Type-2 electrical compliance, factory-written with a buyer-chosen reference design or a design from the WPQ-Library.
- Production-yield validation data. Full statistical characterization of the Q-Blank recording chemistry at production scale — write yield, tile pass rate distribution, edge-coupling insertion-loss distribution, thermo-optic drift envelope, photostability under continuous operation, thermal cycling behavior across the JEDEC operating range. The certification package a buyer would need to justify fleet purchases internally.
- Extended reliability characterization. Ten-thousand-hour continuous-operation profile, thermal-shock validation, mechanical-shock validation (sea-freight profile), electrostatic-discharge tolerance per JEDEC HBM and CDM. Full DPPM (defective parts per million) target and measurement methodology.
- Fleet-deployment license. Worldwide commercialization rights to manufacture and sell WPQ-DIMMs incorporating the buyer's own written designs, at any volume, into any customer market that meets the platform's US-buyer restrictions. Not an IP transfer; the WritePhi-2 platform IP remains the inventor's.
- Engineering support. Twelve months of standing engineering support during the buyer's first-shipment ramp. Direct-to-inventor issue escalation for production, yield, or platform-integration questions.
- Standard warranty. Twelve-month DPPM-backed warranty on the delivered article. Extension to 36 months negotiable.

Assembly-site standup
The buyer stands up a WritePhi-2 assembly site as detailed in the WritePhi-2 PLAYBOOK (phase 6). Sixteen direct manufacturing jobs per site per shift, community-college-trainable, deployable anywhere the buyer wants. WPQ-DIMM Production Tier license includes the site-standup engineering support at no additional per-site fee for the first year.
Payment structures
Primary path is a one-time payment. Also negotiable: installments (3-60 months), milestone-based payments tied to buyer's assembly-site standup phases from the PLAYBOOK, and per-unit royalty structures for buyers who prefer volume-tied compensation over an up-front lump sum.
