Real physics for the CRI-ONE electromagnetic torque-plate propulsion platform (Autocar SKU + electromagnetic-IC family). Ports physics_calculator.py verbatim: 10 first-principles formulas for resistance, inductance, flux density, copper & core losses, IGBT losses, weight, and efficiency. Emits detailed_electromagnetic_design.json + a parametrized can_defs.py for downstream ECU work.

Defaults are the validated calculate_torque_plate_properties() scenario from the reference module (150×150×20 mm plate, 500 turns AWG12, 300 A, 80 °C, 1 kHz, 400 V DC bus).

Silicon-steel core, μr=4000. Copper coil, ρ20°=1.68×10−8 Ω·m, α=0.00393/°C. Lamination 0.35 mm. Values are per-plate; multiply by plate count for system totals.

Once unlocked, how to use:
  1. Save both files into your Autocar/ECU repo (mirrors the reference paths under blueprints/engineering/ and software/).
  2. Generate ECU code from can_defs.py, wire the JSON into your simulator or PCB placement flow.
  3. The JSON computed block echoes the R/L/B/losses/η values shown above; keep it for design review.
