LAN Lifeline is a kit on a USB stick. Plug it in, double-click START HERE, and the PCs in your house find each other. Nothing to install, and no network skills needed.
It finds the other PC by its address, not its name. It checks each address on your home network, and trusts a PC only after that PC proves who it is.
On the PC with the files, press SHARE. On any other PC in the house, press CONNECT, and you get a drive letter. The stick remembers the address. If a PC moves, press REPAIR.
Twenty-four ninety-nine. One stick, your whole house, and nothing to subscribe to.
UNDO puts every setting back the way it was. That is LAN Lifeline.
