QBeam is the wireless chain in US Patent Application 19/722,805: chip A sends, chip B receives, and only two classical bits cross the air. Narration plays in your browser.
Transcript
QBeam is not a processor. It is a quantum wireless signal-and-receiving chain for quantum data. At build time, chip A and chip B share entangled pairs, half of each pair in each chip's quantum battery layer.
To send a qubit, chip A makes a Bell measurement of it with its half of a pair. Out come two classical bits. The CoolBeam phased array beams them across.
Chip B waits for the two bits, applies the I, X, Y or Z correction, and now holds the same qubit. Only the two bits crossed the air.
QBeam is measured by what arrives. The filed application puts that at about 1.2 trillion qubits a second, per chip.
Send, then receive. Send, not compute.
