A battery is the chip without the processing

A 35-second read-along · Christopher Gabriel Brown

The quantum battery is the AutoPhi part with the compute removed and everything else kept — same substrate, same vertical threading, same stacking, same EM cooling. The cells still fire; they just fire in step.

An AutoPhi chip, computing. Thousands of voxel cells blinking in a complex pattern. Each one is a cell of calculation, each one firing on its own.

Now remove the processing. Keep everything else. Same substrate. Same vertical threading. Same chiplet stacking. Same EM cooling. Same seed matrix. The cells still fire — but all in step. They are storing energy now, not computing it.

The same part, run as a battery. One stacked part holds fifteen hundred watt-hours. One burst delivers seventy five megawatts. Zero FLOPS. All substrate.

A battery is the chip without the processing.
