FIRST TO MARKET · Publicly documented 2017 · Invent Deposition #1

Entry #1 opens the entire 2017 corpus — the foundational “light age” disclosure — and is the closest match to Project 14 — Semiconductor Material Discovery and the optical-computing threads on cri-one.com.

“light trigger + varied colored laser semiconductor & microchip — cold light micro chip, digital optics by colored micro mirrors, add-subtract mode to divide and multiply digital platforms, color mathematics and algorithms based on color reflections for process control… nanophotonics, the light age.” — Christopher Gabriel Brown, 2017

From one line to an engineered product

The very first deposition proposes computing in light rather than charge: a cold-light microchip that uses colored micro-mirrors and color-reflection mathematics to perform arithmetic optically. It is the seed of the nanophotonics work — the idea that a semiconductor can switch and compute on wavelength, not just voltage. Project 14’s material-discovery thread builds toward exactly this light-triggered semiconductor.

The idea graduated from the book’s opening line into a patent-pending research direction without changing its founding claim: compute in color and light, not only in charge.
