The disc

A 1:10 read-along · Christopher Gabriel Brown

Your deposit lands. The archive is six megabytes, a single zip. It burns to a DVD with ninety-nine percent of the disc still empty.

The Primera Bravo prints the label. One hundred and twenty millimeters. The upper half carries the archive name, its size, and the first thirty-two characters of its SHA-256 fingerprint.

The lower half carries your name, a serial, the edition date, and the marks — patent pending U.S. Application 19/835,210, if the product is on the umbrella map.

The serial is CRIONE, sequence, date, four-character HMAC check. The check is signed by a local secret. Forged serials do not verify.

The QR encodes the serial plus the fingerprint head. One scan proves the disc declares its own content. A row in an append-only hash-chained ledger seals it.
