AutoPhi Future – Economic: a marker rides the COGS arc over the six chip tiers, from Entry up to Peak and back down to Volume, animated picture

Asset valuation: $3,000,000,000. Complete project folder from the CRI-ONE portfolio.

Imagine handing a foundry the answer first and letting the chip grow out of it. You start with the result you want - a calculation in real height and width inside a normal wafer run - and input it as the instruction. Then you draw the voxel, plan the pins, and grow the die from root to trunk to branch to leaf, adding light, electrons and quantum where needed. The whole chip is born at once. Finding that ratio - voxel to nanometre, envelope, power and cooling, real cost to function - is what the owner calls the miracle we call calculation.

This Copy edition of AutoPhi Future carries the same technology base as the primary package: the metal tree that computes, the eight voxel types, the photon chromosome written in wavelength, polarisation, path and intensity, and the seed - one canonical set on six axes - from which every build is grown. The executable part of the seed is a blank voxel taken through OpenLANE2 to GDSII and LEF. Around it sit 7,661 files - HDL, EDA output, documentation, data, source code, layout - with a standalone RAG over the lot and plain notes on what is quantum and what is classical.

It is for chip-design teams, foundry partners and datacenter buyers who want the next AutoPhi generation in files before tape-out. Two USPTO applications are pending; the inventor, Christopher Gabriel Brown, keeps the IP and the right to file further; the buyer walks away with the seed, the ratio and the repository grown from them.

Overview

AutoPhi Future (Project 18) is the exhaustive, forward-looking concept and roadmap repository for the entire AutoPhi semiconductor stack. It is one vessel : the original Project 18 concept enlarged by folding the re-engineered Project 19 (AutoPhi Miracle) into it — ratio, miracle calculation, seed matrix, valuation, quantum-photonic executable-seed path, standalone RAG, sell-and-distribute readiness, and complete clarity on what is quantum versus what is classical. One number, one reality. The product is not the chip as object; the product is the ratio of instruction set (from size) to calculation and performance per exchange .

This “Copy” variant (SKU 2047) contains the same technology base as the primary 18-autophi-future package. It shares the identical seed architecture, photon-chromosome encoding, metal-tree structure, nine technology elements, and the full MANIFEST of 7,661 files spanning HDL, EDA flow output, documentation, data, chemistry/bio artefacts, source code, images, layout, and web content.

Maturity Level: 4 — Tape-out / Mass-Manufacturable.

What This Product Sells

The product is the ratio : instruction set (from size) → calculation (FLOPS) and performance per exchange (per dollar, per watt, per area). You supply envelope and node (size); you receive calculation and performance per exchange. No mainstream roadmap states that. The formulas are in the open; the ability to build seeds from the ratio is in the repository. That is the product.

Term Definition

Instruction Set The canonical encoding; what is input as the result; the seed and its growth into nodes.

Size Voxel-to-nm dimensions, the envelope, real height × width in a wafer run.

Calculation The outcome to be found; FLOPS, ZettaFLOPS in real H × W — the miracle we call calculation.

Performance per Exchange Work per unit of area, power, and cost; the right ratio.

The Miracle We Call Calculation

ZettaFLOPS in real height and width, inside a normal run of an IC wafer: the right ratio in voxel-to-nm, the envelope, the power and cooling, the AES and COGS. That outcome to be found — the concrete dimensions and the number that put the whole chip, born at once, inside a real run — that is the miracle we call calculation. We build the whole chip at one birth. We input the result as the instruction. We draw the voxel, plan the pins, grow from root to trunk to branch to leaves. We add light and electrons when needed and transform into quantum. The finding of that ratio, that envelope, that number, is the miracle we call calculation. The value of a capability you never had is not a number.

The Metal Tree — Structure, Not Metaphor

AutoPhi Future posits a metal tree that computes . No water. No biological leaves. What flows through it is data; what it draws in is light; what it turns that light into is electricity to function. The chip is not a metaphor of a plant; it is a structure that fulfils the same roles in metal and in computation.

Tree Role (Metal) Chip Analogue (Voxel Role)

Intake / Roots Energy intake — optical/power input; voxels that receive light and feed the rest.

Trunk / Vascular Send — data, control, quantum state, power along waveguides, TSVs, and wires.

Light → Energy Voxels that convert light energy emission to electricity. Light in, electricity out.

Cool & Support Voxels that cool the others and help both: EM cooling, thermal interface, structure.

Voxel types — the species of this tree: INTERCONNECT , LIGHT , BLANK , HYBRID , QUANTUM , IO , MEMORY , CROSS . Mapped to tree roles: SEND (INTERCONNECT, CROSS, LIGHT as waveguide/router), ENERGY (LIGHT as light→electricity, IO as power/light in), COOL_SUPPORT (BLANK extended to thermal/decap/support, or dedicated COOL voxel). Compute and storage consumers: HYBRID, QUANTUM, MEMORY, IO.

The Photon Chromosome — DNA-Style Encoding for the Voxel

Each voxel cell carries a DNA-style encoding across three strands — electron (classical), atomic (quantum), and photon (light). The photon chromosome encodes the real form in light. Four quantities map directly to computation:

Photon Quantity Symbol Computational Mapping

Wavelength (colour) λ Opcode (Red = ADD, Blue = SUB, Green = MUL, Yellow = DIV; extensible)

Polarisation pol Operand index, qubit index, or phase
Path path Address / destination (which waveguide, which voxel)
Intensity I Magnitude / operand value (photon count or amplitude)

One photon chromosome = (λ, pol, path, I) = (opcode, operand/phase, address, magnitude). This is the photon analogue of the classical (opcode, operands, result) and quantum (gate, mask, phase) chromosomes. The light trigger — single-photon computation initiation — starts the cell cycle. Three strands, one cell, one trigger.

Strand Carrier Encodes Role
Photon Light (λ, pol, path, I) → opcode, addr, operand Initiation + optical compute
Electron Charge (opcode, operands, result) Classical compute
Atomic Qubit (gate, mask, phase, ctrl) Quantum compute
The Seed — One Definition, Many Harvests

The seed is the minimal, canonical specification from which every build is grown. It is not a single file; it is the canonical set:

Seed manifest: seeds/SEED.yaml — version 1, name “AutoPhi chip seed (18),” six axes: tiers, cogs_bands, cpu_gpu_dpu_all_in_one, voxel_roles, photon_chromosome, nine_tech. Reproducibility: same seed, same inputs, same result. Version the seed; version the chips. The seed defines the unit; scaling is by repeating and tiling — segment, stack, volume.

Executable Seed — The Blank Voxel (RTL, GDSII, LEF)

The executable portion of the seed is one or more voxels built through OpenLANE2 to GDSII and LEF. The reference implementation:

Blu-ray Harvest — 25 GB Distributable Builds

Every build can be written to a 25 GB Blu-ray disc : foundry handoff packages, standards, performance metrics, decisive COGS, and Seeds/ when present. The disc is distributable and resellable under chosen terms.

Build script: scripts/build_bluray_foundry.py — packages from Project 24 (foundry packages) + Performance_And_COGS from Project 18/docs + Seeds from 18/seeds into a Blu-ray-ready folder. Companion batch: scripts/build_bluray_foundry.bat .

Blu-ray builds captured in the package (four future-only builds, all dated 2026-03-14):
Build Folder Total Files Total Size Contents
BluRay_future-only_20260314 7 12,947 bytes Performance_And_COGS (3 docs) + Seeds (4 files)
BluRay_future-only_20260314_2 7 12,947 bytes Same structure
BluRay_future-only_20260314_3 7 12,947 bytes Same structure
BluRay_future-only_20260314_4 7 12,947 bytes Same structure

Each Blu-ray build contains: Performance_And_COGS/CHIP_SERIES_CPU_GPU_DPU.md (5,042 bytes), Performance_And_COGS/CODE_NAME_ACTUAL_BRONZE.md (2,044 bytes), Performance_And_COGS/PERFORMANCE_AND_COGS_SUMMARY.md (2,659 bytes), Seeds/README.md (1,596 bytes), Seeds/SEED.yaml (803 bytes), Seeds/seed_matrix_example.json (604 bytes), Seeds/seed_matrix_template.csv (199 bytes).

Voxel Arrangement, Paths, and Whole-Quantum Options
Voxel arrangement plan options:
  • Option A: Single voxel-plan spec (JSON/YAML) — defines voxel types, default type map for a given die size, allowed compositions (H, V, diagonal, cross, Z).
  • Option B: Parameter set in RTL — VOXEL_PLAN_W , VOXEL_PLAN_H , VOXEL_TYPE_MAP[i][j] , CONNECT_DIAG , CONNECT_CROSS , N_LAYERS .
  • Option C: Propagate to Project 28 (Complete Unit) — CPU domain = one voxel grid, accelerator domain = REV morphism.
  • Option D: Tooling propagation — OpenLANE configs derive from the same voxel plan.

Path options:

  • E: Neighbour connectivity (rect N/S/E/W, optional diagonal, optional cross).
  • F: Classical vs quantum path tagging.
  • G: Critical path and depth (logical path, calculation depth for coherence).
  • H: Vertical (Z) paths across chiplet layers (TSV, hybrid bond).

Whole-quantum calculation options:

  • I: Unified state representation (global state vector or density matrix).
  • J: Global Hamiltonian or circuit (one evolution over all qubits).
  • K: Hierarchical / reduced model (one effective Hamiltonian per cluster).
  • L: Classical–quantum boundary interface (measurement, control, feed-forward).
  • M: Single simulation/spec target script.

Quantum vs Classical — Honest Statement

The vision includes quantum: QUANTUM voxel type, whole-quantum options, hybrid quantum–classical, nine technology elements. The seed built today is classical : one cell, built with OpenLANE2 (synthesis + P&R), SkyWater 130 nm. No qubits in that block. Quantum is the path available when the right voxel types and RTL are added (in Projects 27/28 and beyond). No hand-waving. No scam. No one is lost.

How chips are made in AutoPhi: RTL (from 27/24/28) → synthesis (Yosys) → OpenLANE2 P&R → GDSII/LEF → foundry or package. Project 18 provides the seed voxel build (one cell), the ratio and seed matrix (formulas, CSV, JSON), and the Blu-ray packaging. Projects 24/27/28 provide the full RTL and build flows for bigger dies and systems.

Relation to the AutoPhi Stack
Project Relationship to 18

02 (AutoPhi Modern) Product consolidation; 18 is the future vision that informs how the voxel and paths evolve. REV_H: 2.8 ZF, 39,756+ handoff files.

24 (Scale) Foundry packages; 18's build script sources 24 by default for Blu-ray content.

27 (Scale Ultimate) Voxel die building, hybrid/light/quantum cores, segment RTL. 18's cell and chromosome concepts apply to 27's grid. Seed RTL (autophi_voxel_blank) originates from 27.

28 (Complete Unit) Single-chip, CPU–accelerator symmetry. 18's whole-quantum and path options inform 28's unified die.

  • 7,661 files across 10 categories (Data, EDA flow output, Documentation, HDL, Chemistry/bio, Web, Source code, Images, Layout, Other).
  • Seed voxel RTL — autophi_voxel_blank.v (Verilog, 39 lines, parameters QUBITS=256, CLASSICAL_BITS=32, SECURITY_LEVEL=3).
  • OpenLANE2 configuration — config.json (560×560 μm die area, 10 ns clock, 45% target density).
  • Complete EDA run artefacts — Multiple OpenLANE2 runs (2026-02-07) with full 57-step flows: verilator-lint, yosys-synthesis, openroad-floorplan, placement, CTS, routing, STA (3 PVT corners), magic-streamout, klayout-streamout. Final GDSII layout files ( .gds , .magic.gds , .klayout.gds ).
  • Seed manifest — seeds/SEED.yaml (version 1, six axes).
  • Seed matrix — seed_matrix_template.csv + seed_matrix_example.json + formula documentation.
  • 36 documentation files in docs/ covering every aspect: product ratio, miracle calculation, metal tree, photon chromosome, chip series, performance/COGS, seed growth (130 nm → 3 nm/5 nm), voxel paths, whole-quantum options, distribution/licensing, valuation, RAG, prior art, sales description, deposition, essays, and more.

How this is delivered

This package ships on a single Blu-ray disc, posted to the delivery address on your order. The archive on the disc is AES-256 encrypted; the passphrase is sent separately, by email, once the disc is despatched — so the disc alone is of no use to anyone who intercepts it.

Discs are despatched by tracked, signed-for post. Allow 5 business days for mastering and verification before despatch.
