Some enterprise solutions offer two. NewStar provides six distinct encryption modes, each designed for different use cases and threat levels. Every mode has been built, tested, and verified in the NewStar firmware stack.

The Six Encryption Modes

1. AES-128-GCM — The baseline encryption for School Mode. AES-128 is used worldwide for securing financial transactions and government communications at the Confidential level. For student communications and educational content, it provides strong protection with efficient battery usage.

2. AES-256-GCM — The standard encryption for Play Mode and the foundation for Business Mode. AES-256 is approved for Top Secret classified information by the NSA. Every consumer NewStar call runs through at least this level of encryption.

3. QKD + AES-256-GCM — Quantum Key Distribution combined with AES-256 is the primary Business Mode encryption. QKD uses the principles of quantum mechanics to generate encryption keys. These keys cannot be intercepted without detection, and they cannot be cracked by any computer, including future quantum computers.

4. Fractional Encryption — A proprietary method developed by Christopher Gabriel Brown. Data is split into fragments, each encrypted with different keys and routed through different satellite beams. Even if an attacker somehow captured one fragment, they would have a meaningless piece of a larger puzzle encrypted with a key they do not possess.

5. Timeline Encryption — Another proprietary method. Encryption keys rotate on a time-based schedule, with each time window using a unique key. A recording of an encrypted session is worthless because the keys that protected it existed only during their assigned time window and are destroyed immediately after.

6. SOS Emergency Mode — A dedicated encryption channel that bypasses all normal routing. When a user triggers an SOS, the phone immediately establishes an EMERGENCY_SERVICES channel through NCS-19 with encryption optimized for speed and reliability. This mode has been tested to activate instantly regardless of what the phone was doing before the SOS was triggered.

Tested and Proven

All six encryption modes are implemented in the NewStar firmware. The encryption pipeline has passed 21 dedicated tests. Tamper detection has been verified: a single bit flip in ciphertext is caught and the compromised data is rejected. The complete test suite covers 114 tests with zero failures.

Why Six Modes Matter

Different situations require different levels of security. A student checking homework does not need quantum encryption. A CEO discussing a billion-dollar acquisition does. NewStar automatically applies the appropriate encryption based on the active mode, but the architecture supports all six simultaneously. The phone adapts to the threat level. The user just makes the call.

Learn more at cri-one.com/store or contact Christopher Gabriel Brown at crioneaka@outlook.com.

[/lcus_masonry_article]

Related from cri-one.com/store

First Edition — CGB Mathematical Depositions, Complete 2026 (Copy Ownership)

$594.99

NewStar Cell

$50000000.00

Communications Satellite – Proof of Function 4: Quantum Key Distribution Encryption

$1.69

NewStar provides six encryption modes from AES-128-GCM to quantum key distribution, fractional encryption, and timeline encryption.
